Description

This stackable tableware set transforms a complete table setting into a decorative object. When assembled, its bowls, plates and serving pieces form the silhouette of a traditional Asian vessel; once separated, the restrained exterior gives way to a continuous illustrated world.

Qing Alhambra translates memories of the palace into a tall sculptural vessel. Its pink exterior recalls the colour of the stone, while the equal-volume containers reveal a floral composition in mint, powder pink and white, unfolding like a melody as the pieces are separated.

Designed for display as well as dining, the set can stand as a sculptural object between meals before opening to serve the table. It is a characteristic example of ibride's ability to place narrative and surprise inside a practical household object.
