Designed by architects Chris Prosser and Ian Flood, this sculptural chess set recasts the familiar pieces of the game as celebrated landmarks from London.
London’s skyline is interpreted through terraced houses, Big Ben, the London Eye, 30 St Mary Axe, The Shard and Canary Wharf.
Hand-cast in solid bronze and substantial in the hand, every piece is finished with a felt base. The city map board completes a functional work of design that is equally compelling in play or on display.
