Description

Designed by architects Chris Prosser and Ian Flood, this sculptural chess set recasts the familiar pieces of the game as celebrated landmarks from New York.

New York’s skyline is interpreted through Brownstone houses, the Guggenheim Museum, Flatiron Building, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building and One World Trade Center.

Hand-cast in solid bronze and substantial in the hand, every piece is finished with a felt base. The city map board completes a functional work of design that is equally compelling in play or on display.
