Designed by architects Chris Prosser and Ian Flood, this sculptural chess set recasts the familiar pieces of the game as celebrated landmarks from Paris.
Paris is interpreted through Haussmann architecture, the Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Arc de Triomphe, Sacré-Cœur and the Eiffel Tower.
Hand-cast in solid bronze and substantial in the hand, every piece is finished with a felt base. The city map board completes a functional work of design that is equally compelling in play or on display.
